lovely jars of salsa made by the fifteen chefs
There are always perks doing work experience in such a place, Gennaro Contaldo popped into the teaching class to say hi to the chefs. He is such a nice guy and so passionate about keeping cooking skills alive - which is what its all about.
I really enjoy taking images of food classes, both of the students and teachers. They are always so absorbed in what they are doing, they dont really notice the camera (or give the impression that they dont!) so you always get some great natural shots. It was a real pleasure to see the Fifteen Chefs out of the busy, pressurised kitchen and see them pass on their knowledge to the students that they will be teaching in San Francisco in the Google HQ
I am so proud of this photograph, it is probably my favorite image of food that I have taken so far. I love the way the colours of the fruit and mint pop out against the white bowl and table. I have entered this for the Observers best food photography award, fingers crossed!

Hi all, as promised, I would be putting some more stuff up on here! These are a few out of the many images that I took for the nutrition brief at Jamie Olivers. We took nearly 30 in total, these are just a few of my favorites. I had the pleasure of working with two lovely stylists, Christina MacKenzie & Charlie (whose last name I can’t remember, oops!) who made these images look beautiful, without their attention to detail, these images just wouldn’t have that beautiful composure. (I did style the olive & ginger one myself) Hope that you like them!
salt, very naughty, but you gotta have it on your fish & chips & roast spuds!
