//for my navigation project i am looking at the literal aspect of navigation - maps, walks, travel etc.  i was in a lovely antique shop in my home town (i could live in there looking at all of the weird and wonderful things that you find in there) and i stumbled across this box of old postcards, most of them were blank but some of them had writing on the back!  i spent a good half hour (it was a large box!) finding all of the ones with handwriting on the back - i didnt even think to look at the photograph on the front.  some of the cards were illegible because the handwriting was so curly, but i picked a few out to pop them into my sketch book and incorporate them into my final piece.  what i want to know is why were they in a little antique shop in chesham?  how did they get there, who let these memories be let go?  well, whoever they are, thank you, because they are bloomin brilliant for my project!//
