shooting at jamie oliver’s
last week i was extremely lucky to shoot a teaching class at jamie oliver’s in london. the work that the team do is so important to the way this country has to change its attitude towards food. the work the teaching time do is vital and it was really inspiring to have an insight into the world of such a famous chef and it proves that what he says isn’t just for the camera. the teachers here were teaching a group of t.a’s and teachers from a school in islington how to make pesto & learn about other nutritional information, they would then go onto teach how to make what they had learnt to the children at their school. in between the teaching and lunch (which was scrummy!) i got a tour of some of the other buildings that are J.O based - i even got to see the man himself which was pretty cool! to round the afternoon off a guy called paul came up, he is the pasta MASTER and has worked with Jamie for many years, he was a quiet scottish man, but had such a passion for what he does. anyway, here are the pictures from that hot, but brilliant day.
